Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This policy explains what data SeedReel collects, why, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the service, we don't sell your data, and payments are handled by Paddle so we never see your card details.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — your email address, password (stored hashed by our auth provider), and the role you select at onboarding (e.g. "agency owner").
- Usage data — videos you save and the projects you create, so the product works.
- Billing data — subscription status and identifiers from our payment provider. Card numbers and billing addresses are collected and stored by Paddle, our merchant of record, not by us.
- Product analytics — pages you visit and actions you take in the app (e.g. saving a video, opening checkout), plus anonymized session recordings with every typed input masked. We use this only to understand what is useful and fix what is confusing.
- Technical data — standard server logs (IP, browser) kept by our hosting providers for security and debugging.
2. What we use it for
- Providing and securing the service (authentication, saved projects, subscription access).
- Support and important service emails (e.g. billing or product changes).
- Improving curation — aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns.
We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers.
3. Processors we rely on
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Paddle — payments, invoicing, and tax, as merchant of record.
- PostHog — product analytics (US-hosted).
Each processor handles data under its own privacy terms and safeguards.
4. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. Email us to delete your account and we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (held by Paddle).
5. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time by emailing hichemhamzaoui16@gmail.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the rights provided by the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies only: authentication session cookies and a theme preference. Our product analytics stores an anonymous identifier in your browser's local storage. No third-party advertising cookies, and we never sell or share data with advertisers.
7. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
